T-Rex Toy Drawing
Still life scene in the “Back to my Roots: Pencil Drawings” series
We decided throw a dinosaur toy in the mix and draw a T-Rex from my son’s toy box.
My niece Bryanna participated in this drawing as well as all of the others, but on this one she did so well I had to show it on my blog. She drew hers from a slightly different angle, but she thinks she beat me on this one. What do you think? Comment below. You can check out her work on Behance.
About this series:
This summer has been a return to my love for pencil drawing. We set up an art boot camp of sorts at my creative agency, KarBel Multimedia, for our high school interns to teach drawing techniques that would help them improve. We set up still life scenes with random objects placed on a table for them to draw. The first still life scene was of simple shapes, but over the days and weeks the scenes got more complicated. I joined them in my spare time to see if I could keep up. I ended up drawing all of the scenes the interns drew as well as a couple of large grid drawings. In this series, I will share all of the scenes I drew this summer.
